What we believe.
Built on Jesus Christ.

Our Christian faith is the foundation of The Rock Ministries. These core beliefs guide our purpose, our community, and our commitment to helping men grow as followers of Jesus Christ.

What we believe

Faith at the center of a new beginning.

Our hope is in Jesus Christ. We believe His grace meets us where we are and calls us into a life of faith, responsibility, and love. These are the convictions at the heart of our Christian discipleship home in Aurora, Colorado.

What do you believe about God?

We believe in one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, holy in His character and faithful in His love. Every person is made in His image and is worthy of dignity, compassion, and care.

Scripture: Genesis 1:27 · Matthew 28:19 · 2 Corinthians 13:14

Who is Jesus Christ to the ministry?

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully human. He lived without sin, gave His life on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead. Through Him we can be reconciled to God. He is our Savior and Lord, and the foundation on which we seek to build our lives.

Scripture: John 1:1–14 · 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 · Colossians 1:19–20

What is the role of the Holy Spirit?

We believe the Holy Spirit draws people to Christ, lives within those who trust Him, and helps us grow in faith. We depend on His presence to understand God’s truth, turn from sin, and become more like Jesus in the way we live and love.

Scripture: John 14:26 · Romans 8:9–11 · Galatians 5:22–25

What is your authority for faith?

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our authority for faith and practice. Through Scripture, we learn who God is, what He has done, and how to follow Him. We seek to read it faithfully and put its teaching into practice with humility.

Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16–17 · Psalm 119:105 · James 1:22

How does salvation work?

We believe all of us have sinned and need God’s forgiveness. Salvation comes by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ; it cannot be earned by effort or a better past. We respond to His grace through repentance and trust, receiving the new life He offers.

Scripture: Romans 3:23–24 · Ephesians 2:8–10 · Acts 3:19

What is the goal of discipleship?

We believe discipleship is the ongoing work of learning to follow Jesus. Prayer, Scripture, obedience, service, and honest accountability help us grow. We seek to take responsibility for our choices and practice a faith that is visible in everyday actions.

Scripture: Luke 9:23 · John 15:4–5 · James 2:17

How do you view Christian community?

We believe God calls His people to worship together, encourage one another, and carry one another’s burdens. Christian community gives us opportunities to offer forgiveness, receive correction with humility, and serve with love. At The Rock Ministries, this shared life is part of our commitment to discipleship.

Scripture: Acts 2:42 · Galatians 6:2 · Hebrews 10:24–25
