The program

What is The Rock Ministries?

The Rock Ministries is a Christian men’s discipleship home and men’s group home in Aurora, Colorado. We offer structured sober living, recovery support, and brotherhood for men facing addiction, unstable housing, or a need for a new direction. The program is centered on Jesus Christ and growing in faith within Christian community.

How long is the program?

The program is a six-month commitment. Before applying, read the admissions commitment and consider whether you are ready to participate in the program, its structure, and its expectations for that time.

Does the program cost anything?

There are no program fees. That does not mean every personal expense is covered. Ask admissions what is provided and which personal expenses you should plan for before entering.

Is participation voluntary?

Yes. Participation is voluntary. Choosing to enter means making the six-month commitment of your own free will and agreeing to the program’s structure and expectations.

Where is the home located?

The home is in Aurora, Colorado. Men and families exploring options in the Denver area can contact admissions to learn about the program and discuss their circumstances.

Family & contact

Can residents have contact with family during the first 30 days?

The first 30 days are a no-contact blackout period: no phone calls, visits, or mail. This is part of the commitment applicants must understand before applying. Discuss questions about this rule with admissions before entering.

What happens after the first 30 days?

After the blackout period, phone-call or visitation privileges may be available according to program rules and the resident’s progress. Completing 30 days does not automatically grant those privileges. Ask admissions to explain the current rules, including how mail is handled after the blackout period.

Can a family member call to ask about the program?

Yes. Family members can call 817.683.7148 with questions about the program and admissions. Calling the ministry does not change the first 30 days of no calls, visits, or mail for residents. Ask admissions what information can be discussed about an individual resident.

Before you apply

How do I apply, and does an application guarantee admission?

Begin on the admissions page, read the program commitment, and acknowledge the terms before completing the application. Submitting an application is a request for review. It does not guarantee admission, an opening, or a move-in date.

Go to admissions

Who is eligible, and is there a minimum age?

Speak directly with admissions about age requirements and your individual circumstances. Admissions can explain the current requirements and whether applying is an appropriate next step for you.

Do I need to be a Christian before applying?

The Rock Ministries is centered on Jesus Christ and Christian discipleship. Admissions can explain faith-related participation expectations and discuss your questions before you apply. You can also read our core Christian beliefs to understand the foundation of the ministry.

Read what we believe

What if I have medical, medication, or mental-health needs?

Discuss your needs directly with admissions before making plans to enter. Ask whether the program can accommodate your circumstances and what arrangements would be needed. Do not assume that a particular treatment, medication arrangement, or clinical service is available.

Are there openings, and how do I arrange travel?

Call admissions about current availability, possible timing, and transportation questions before making travel plans. An application does not reserve a place. Confirm any arrangements directly with the ministry.
